Italian disco-wave producer Guxi follows up his spaced out "Twinkling Stars" release on Tom Tom Disco earlier this year. This time he is back with a perfect blend of raw analog drummachines and synths programmed in a true Tom Tom Disco post punk-afro-tech-minimal-funk vibe. As much as he is blending in with his fellow tom tom disco artists, he's also pushing and cements the sounds of the label. The Tom Tom Disco earlybird Frank Agrario adds a dirty dirty Nairobi-eaque conga-groover remix to "Ritmo Jango" with that very distinct noise and tape-hizzz spilling all over it. Richard Rossa takes the "Profanos" even deeper with a 9 minutes long hypnotic, drum-heavy jazzy deephouse burner with improvised and random elements emerging and evolving from far distant worlds. With "Ritmo jango" Afro-house is the new postpunk!
