Dan Thompson – Nemesis [Practikal Recordings]

To relaunch Practikal Recordings, we have enlisted the help of one of the UK's biggest and best progressive trance producers, Dan Thompson. Bringing his unique style to the label for the first time, we present to you 'Nemesis'.
Right from the off you know this tune is going to be big. The rolling percussions and risers that build from the start sets the scene, for the initial drop. With big stabs and heavy subs blended with a chunky kick… the track is sure to get people bouncing straight away. Building with a real mixture of elements and big snares, the track builds the atmosphere towards the break, giving it an almost eerie feel in places.
The break is typically Dan, with clever use of vocals and fx to give the track real depth and retain the interest, before dropping down into the massive main melody. Square leads and big deep pads that will fill any room build the track to a massive crescendo, and as the bass and kick hits…. crowds will simply go nuts for this tune.
This is definitely a floor filling, crowd pleasing piece of progressive, but techie edged trance that's not for the feint-hearted. If you like prog , and Dan's style you will love this.
