Damon Trueitt, Mogul – Soulglow [NDYD Records]

After his impressive debut EP „Free Limitation" (released on NDYD Records in 2015), Mogul certainly made some major moves throughout the upcoming months. His remixes of Brandy's „Scared Of Beautiful", Amy Winehouse's „Stronger Than Me" (with Mokoa) and his take on Gwen Stefani's „Yummy" not only got him tons of plays but support by the likes of Okayplayer, Indie Shuffle, Soulbounce and many more.

His previous release „Making My World" featured Canadian up-and-coming RnB-trio Dirty Radio and again offered his very own take on how to mix RnB with futuristic, drum-filled 4-to-the-floor instrumentation.

With „Soulglow" and Washington's RnB-crowner Damon Trueitt, who might be most renowned for his collaboration with Roche Musique's FKJ on „Higher In Love", the listener is taken on a journey to get from self-doubts back to a positive life, he returns to NDYD Records.

The overall feeling of „Soulglow", augmented with strong drum patterns and jazzy chords, perfected with Damon's deep vocal intonation and his talent to transfer sentiments accurately, makes it a stunning piece of life affirmation.
