Alaia & Gallo, Addvibe, David Keno – Brothers [Glasgow Underground]

Back in ye olde 90s Glasgow Underground used to run the Idjut Boys labels for them and occasionally contribute some A&R selections. A Norwegian group called Addvibe was one of our favourite signings and we've organised with our Idjut friends to re-issue Addvibe's 90/00s material. "Brothers" was originally released on the Discfunction label in 2001 with mixes from Mateo & Matos. For this reissue we've asked some of our favourite deep house heads to give the originals the once over.

David Keno delivers a swinging funky-ass groove complete with a monster bass-line and killer p-funk chops while Alaia & Gallo (whose cover of "Who Is He (And What Is He To You)?" is our current guilty pleasure) take things deeper with a soulful deep house jam.

Support from: Groove Armada, Skream, Tensnake, Tony Humphries, The Mekanism, Oscar L, TCTS, Barrientos, Paco Osuna, German Brigante, Claptone, Krywolf, Sascha Dive, Waifs & Strays, Angelo Ferreri, Vanilla Ace, Claude Monnet, Dario D'Attis, Piemont, ., Per QX, Alaia & Gallo, Greg Fenton, Deepshakerz…
