Abib Djinn debuts on CZ with the superb hard edged techno three tracker entitled PorNox. Abib is a self confessed genie of dark techno vibes. He loves to create decadent dark atmospheres and hard parties. While this is his first release, he has already signed for other labels for 2017. A wonderful up and coming talent with a lot to offer, this guy is most definitely one to watch for the future.
PorNox settles into a deep and dark techno groove right from the off as tough edged beats are matched with a strangely melodic rippling synth line that runs through the entire track. A beautifully crafted percussion arrangement keeps the rhythm in check as this mesmeric slice of techno locks us in for the duration. Some very cool FX are introduced and blend perfectly into the dark sound which is shored up by a rumbling bassline. Top notch stuff that will work well in build up and peak time sets equally.
Alliance Du Desert intros with a fantastic powerful, punchy kick drum that is laced with a deep low end bass tone. Crispy hats slice through the lower sounds and form into a solid rhythmic flow with a little help from some beautifully arranged percussions and FX. The big focus here goes towards the bass, it delivers such a deep vibe that hooks you in with its mesmerizing qualities. The short breaks unleash a superb noisy riser that creates a wonderful climax which will ensure that floors keep moving. Brilliant stuff and a must have for sure.
Sahara goes deep into the techno sound, so deep that you can touch its core. Tough, pumping kick drums lead the way alongside a cool and contrasting hi hat pattern that delivers a flowing rhythm. In the mid section we're treated to some very cool, gritty synths that are manifested as metallic arps straight out of the industrial age. On the low end a hypnotic bass does its job and does it well as we are moved easily with its deep techno grooves. An excellent slice of the deeper side of techno that is not to be missed.
